Some couples just radiate happiness. That was Shelbie and Todd from the first time we met them. Never stopped holding hands. Were emotional seeing Sunset Vista, their future ceremony site, and over just the sweetest duo. We are still county the lucky stars we got to serve them on their wedding day!

She is very quick to respond and answer any question or help with anything you need! She goes above and beyond to make sure your day runs smoothly and to give you all the information you need! All of our guests were raving about how gorgeous the venue was!

To say we are blushing is an understatement, these words mean so much to our team and we loved every second of being the venue for these two love birds. We can’t wait for them to come back someday for family photos!

UNIQUE FIRST LOOK AT THE COLORADO RIVER - JUST EAST OF AUSTIN

Shelbie and Todd decided to have their first look at our River Amphitheater that steps down right into the Colorado River itself! This space is stunning but is seasonal and depends on the water level and other factors. Some days it’s clear and beautiful other’s it’s underwater!

But when it’s just right it can be a very unique space for a First Look that is especially special to those couples who love The Colorado River and have special memories there. This is something we hear often.. “we love kayaking together,” or “we had our first date at Town Lake,” or “we have always been drawn to the Hill Country rivers and greenbelts.” These memories come back to focus during first looks on the river. We love having a diversity of spaces for couples to choose to have their first look that is both meaningful and beautiful. If you are looking for a special, one-of-a-kind first look option or Hidden Staircase or River Amphitheater are for you!

Ceremony - Sunset Vista at Shiraz Garden with the Large Oak as their backdrop

This sweet couple came to every open house and were always a joy to see. They were so excited to get married you could just tell every time we got to see them. Their ceremony had all the touches of that excitement and intentionality to it with the outdoor views the Hill Country provides but the classic elegance of their florals, attire, and more.

They choose Sunset Vista for their ceremony and the Large Oak as the backdrop with gorgeous florals from Forever Beloved Co. This color combination is one of our favorites from the entire year, making you take a second look! We love a soft classic look with greenery, but this sophisticated look took it there with lots of color! A winning color and wedding theme we will never forget.

October Outdoor Wedding Reception at Shiraz Garden’s Formal Garden

Shelbie and Todd’s elegant wedding continued on at their outdoor, open-air reception in our Formal Garden for a night of food, cake, and dancing!

Things we love from this wedding:

• the amazing Polaroid cameras for guests to leave as they sign the guest book! See those cool square cameras and the details to make the book easy for guests to use.

Getting Ready and Formal Wedding Portraits for Shelbie and Todd’s Wedding Party

After their first look on the river these two had a great time with their wedding party taking their formal photos on the Hidden Staircase. We are in love with these portraits from Ashely Eubanks, one of our first preferred vendors! We can’t wait to see her here again and hopefully on just as beautiful of a day!
