SOMETHING BLUE - Light Blue Wedding Details

Dreaming of a chic garden wedding with timeless elegance? The pairing of crisp white and light blue is one way to capture that timeless aesthetic! As Erin beautifully embodied at her Shiraz Garden wedding, this classic palette weaves seamlessly with the natural canvas of greens from the lust October Hill Country landscape. Imagine white tablecloths reflecting the sun like shimmering ponds while wispy silks in the softest sky blue flutter on bridesmaids' gowns, mimicking the dance of leaves in the breeze. Delicate blue blooms tucked amongst ivory roses add a touch of whimsy, echoing the summer sky. It's a symphony of simplicity and serenity, where nature and sophistication join hands, creating a timeless backdrop for your vows. So, brides-to-be, embrace the beauty of white and light blue – let it whisper romance amidst whispering leaves and paint your love story with strokes of effortless chic.

Classic Simplicity - Erin’s Iconic Bridal Look

Erin's gown was a vision of classic simplicity. With clean lines, a flowing skirt, and a structured oversized bow, it gave off Audrey Hepburn-style sophistication. The soft-glam bridal makeup emphasized her natural beauty with its dewy glow and perfectly defined brows. The hair, styled in a chic updo, was the perfect finishing touch, a timeless elegance that mirrored the day's theme.

We loved how Lola Beauty ATX created the perfect match for hair and makeup for Erin’s overall bridal look! And we can’t discount how dapper Andrew was, too! His groom's look was classic but enough of a casual look that worked with the garden theme and Erin’s elegant look.

TIME FOR CEREMONY - GRAB YOUR TOPO!

Shiraz Garden fosters a sense of relaxed joy even before the vows. Here, on this sprawling estate, couples embrace the tradition of pre-ceremony welcome drinks! Imagine laughter as guests sip on sparkling concoctions or handcrafted mocktails – a refreshing welcome after their journey to the venue and a fun surprise! Now onsite at least 30 minutes before the ceremony, guests have time to mingle, admire the scenery, have a bathroom break, and perhaps reapply that perfect lip gloss. Then, as the music shifts and the sun dips lower, Aunt May says, “Grab your topo, and let’s go!” and everyone joins a joyful parade!

Guests get excited for the “next” part of the evening and anticipate what the ceremony space will look like! They follow the sun-dappled forest path, a short celebratory path to Sunset Vista. Atop a hill overlooking the vast Texas Hill Country, there awaits not just the ceremony, but a breathtaking panorama!

A Love Story Written in Blooms

Shiraz Garden's natural beauty was enhanced by Truth and Blooms (Kinsey Harbert) floral artistry. Crisp white roses frame Erin and Andrew as they exchange vows. Delicate white flowers of different whimsical sizes peeked out from arrangements on the guest tables, adding a touch of “garden” to the elegant setting. Every bloom echoed the timeless theme, painting the venue with old-world romance. This all-white floral design for the garden wedding was perfect for highlighting the softness from the rest of Erin’s design with light blue bridesmaids' dresses and, of course, the greens of mid-October at Shiraz Garden.

Choosing your wedding venue is one of the most exciting milestones in planning your big day. While the temptation to scour the internet for hidden gems might be strong, consider embracing the wisdom of your chosen venue's recommended vendor list. It might seem restrictive initially, but think of it as a shortcut to stress-free bliss. Especially in the endless choices in the Texas Hill Country - home to the highest concentration of wedding venues in the country! That means endless vendors, and picking those with site-specific knowledge is a huge stress relief!

These vendors aren't just random names on a page; they're partners hand-picked by the venue experts. They understand the ins and outs of the space, from navigating its hidden staircases to anticipating guest flow for a seamless ceremony.

No last-minute venue hiccups will throw them off their stride – they've weathered them all before. Imagine your photographer knowing exactly where to capture the golden hour light cascading through the venue's garden, or your caterer seamlessly navigating the kitchen layout to bring your dream menu to life. So, breathe easy. Go with the recommended team, and have the peace of mind that comes with knowing your vendors are as familiar with your venue as you are with your vows.

After all, on your wedding day, the only surprise you want is the joyful tears in your partner's eyes, not a forgotten extension cord or a miscalculated dance floor size. Let the venue's expertise guide you, and trust that their recommended vendors will orchestrate a flawlessly smooth celebration, leaving you free to soak in every perfect moment of your once-in-a-lifetime day.

Now, just like Erin and Andrew’s day, you’ll most likely have a few vendors new to your venue, but a core team of recommended vendors is what’s key! They all work together!
