Texas Hill Country Micro-Wedding with beautiful views

Danielle wanted it all, a 300+ guest list, ball gown, over-the-top ceremony, and Texas-sized reception.

But 2020 had other plans. In place of the large wedding, Payne and Danielle opted to keep to their desired wedding date, 12.12.20, and share their wedding day with their close friends and family. Changing from a large wedding to a small wedding was tough mentally at first. Then they found Shiraz Garden.

Danielle and Payne said over and over they were so thankful for how 2020 had changed their perceptions of what a “perfect wedding” would look like. Every guest had a personal, one-on-one conversation with the couple, their family had the flexibility to be involved in every step, and it was fine if the ring bearer added another 10 minutes to the procession. The focus was 100% on these two being united in marriage, and the standard strict wedding timeline went out the window.

Reception time at the Formal Garden for their intimate wedding with family and friends.

“Thank you to my wonderful parents; without your unconditional love and support, I wouldn't know what to look for in a partner. Without your patience, planning a wedding in less than two months would have never been possible. Thank you for putting up with me my entire life (not like you have much of a choice lol), and thank you for being my very first best friend. You two are my heart and soul, love you both mucho mucho.”
