Texas February Outdoor Wedding - Texas Vouge + Romantic Boho Vibes
When we picture the ideal Shiraz Garden wedding with a ceremony overlooking the Hill Country views at Sunset Visa and romantic reception at the Formal Garden one wedding comes to mind instantly — the Green Wedding in early February!
We heard someone call it “Texas Vouge” and that was this day exactly!
The rust-colored and western-chic details from this day made for the perfect blend of Elegant Texas Wedding dreams for any boho bride whose groom wants to keep his vibes all Texas.
The florals from Peekaboo Blooms, the groom’s custom suite from Ft. Lonesome, and Kelsey’s incredible gown from Unbridled mixed out the rich tones of a selection of our Persian Rugs for the ceremony were the elements we’ll never stop thinking about.
All captured by our favorite Texas Wedding Photographer Lane Collins.
Sterling Events + Catering did an amazing job on coordination, food, and more!
CUSTOM FT. LONESOME SUITE + ROMANTIC LONG SLEEVE GOWN
Gil’s custom suit from Ft. Lonesome was one of the best things to come from COIVD-wedding planning. FT. Lonesome creates custom suits for some of the country’s biggest stars, but during COVID when all the shows were closed artists weren’t in need of as many glitzy one-of-a-kind stage suits. They posted they’d be making a limited number of suits for “none musicians” during that downtime and Gil was one of the lucky few. The suite is full of details from Gil’s life making it not only a show-stopper for a cowboy suit but meaningful in every way.
Kelsey’s dreamy winter gown from Unbridled Austin was not only classic with the satin body but the perfect amount of vintage with the lace high color and sleeves. Wedding gowns with sleeves are a fashion trend we adore, with this dress at the very top.
February Sunset Vista ceremony with Scottish Highland vibes
The grounded floral arrangement at Sunset Vista is a favorite so that the views and still be a major feature. Peekaboo Blooms is a Recommended Shiraz Vendor for constantly giving our couples the best floral design and experiences possible. Look at these stunning colors that played of the range of rust and vintage reds in the wedding party dresses and Persian Rugs!
We heard from more than one person that day that the views on this cloudy overcast February day gave off a Scottish Highlands-type vibe. Some of our most beautiful weddings happen in February when the weather is still crisp and the landscape is dramatic with the winter tones perfect for this wedding’s color pallet. And ow about those awesome jean jackets for the groomsmen to take up the winter wester look up a notch.
Hill Country wedding reception at Shiraz Garden
Kelsey arrived at the ceremony in Gil’s mothers classic teal Cadillac and then the two made their entrance into the wedding reception after their photos in this magic car too! Why not use the traditional getaway car for ceremony arrival, reception entrance and getaway car!? We are here for it.
