Venue Representitives and Venue Managers On Duty - Why it's important your venue has one! And what is extra special about your Shiraz Managers

Venue Coordinator / Venue Manager Vs. Wedding Planner:

Many couples initially think a “venue manager” and a wedding planner are the same. They are not, but having both makes a wedding day as smooth as possible! A wedding planner or coordinator executes the bride’s design, timeline, and vendor communication. At the most basic level, a venue manager ensures the lights are on and stay on. But, at Shiraz Garden, we do so much more to give our couples a 5-star experience.

Shiraz Garden goes above and beyond regarding day-of “assistance” and guest experience. Our talented staff of “Venue Managers” or “Venue Hostesess” (and all the other common names for this position)stand out from the rest. We strive to give every guest a welcome smile as we ride up to their car in the golf cart, ask if they’d like a ride, or point them in the right direction to “follow the string lights.”

Guests and couples alike rave about our Shiraz Garden Veneu Mangers and what an impact it had on their day.

COUPLES RIEVEWS — DAY-OF VENUE MANGERS

Shiraz - Team Leader

To start, each bride has a dedicated “Team Leader,” who will be with them from the venue open time until the couple starts enjoying their reception. While the Team Leader has 100 behind-the-scenes tasks during the wedding day, our couples will enjoy these dedicates services they “see” during the day:

  • welcoming wedding party at the gate and directing them to cottages to avoid any delays

  • assistance with moving luggage or dropping off decor for ceremony or reception

  • guidance on best practices for unloading decor and assisting where possible

  • ensuring all vendors are greeted and directed to avoid delays

  • assisting all wedding party and couples movement around the property for pre-ceremony photos at the river, staircase, and beyond

  • taking progress photos for the bride to see as she gets ready and before coordinator/planner has arrived

SHIRAZ - MOD during RECEPTION

Your second Shiraz Venue Manger likewise has a large list of tasks to ensure the venue looks its best, but your guests will immediately be delighted when they are greeted and offered a ride.

  • Thirty minutes before guests arrive, your second Shiraz Venue Manger will start shuttling guests from the parking lot to the welcome area.

  • Guests are going to have seen Shiraz Garden’s website (everyone gets curious when invites are received) and ask to see the Staircase! Our staff happily shows guests the view from Mohana Outlook and, during cocktail hour, often shuttle small groups over for selfies and to take in the sunset.

  • Your Venue Manger will take you and your photographer/video teams anywhere on-site you’d like for Sunset Golden Hour photos or a private moment. We are here to help.

  • Your Venue Manger will ensure all vendors are meeting expectations, help security, and coordinator to handle any issues or violations to prevent fines (we are on your team always), and will happily assist vendors (not interfering with our own responsibilities) with setup or teardown.
