Jessica came to her tour with her sister-in-law, who was in the wedding industry for many years! They came with many detailed questions, and, at the end, they left with a heart full of excitement for Jessica and Daniel’s big day at Shiraz Garden!

I have heard some horror stories from friends about their venues, etc. and I just think how lucky I am to have such an intentional, relational, detailed, organized, and communicative venue manager - and for a GORGEOUS venue at that!! Can't believe the wedding day is so close! Cannot wait to see you on rehearsal dinner day!
Alanna is ABSOLUTELY incredible I could not back this more and we have not even had our wedding day yet!!! I am a resident physician and work 80+ hr work weeks am planning my wedding from another state and Alanna has been a total rockstar. I could not speak more highly of her! I have been so blessed to have this all come to fruition with such a difficult, states-away work schedule.

When you tour Shiraz, we are not just listening to you and writing down your desires and vision. We are immediately considering the logistics of how not only to make that happen but to make it happen as smoothly as possible. We will not receive a layout from a planner and stop there. We are going to review it and, with our experience of years of weddings at Shiraz, make suggestions.
We’re always going to follow up! We’re always going to be thinking to ourselves, how to do we make this wedding day element just a little bit more flawless?
This is the same kind of ethos we want to see in our planners who we recommend to our couples. Our Hill Country Recommended Planners are not just going to take all this amount of information from the couple, shift through it and make the day work. These planners and coordinators are going to constantly be asking themselves and communicating with us how do we make this work and make it work even better than it has before. I want to hear them considering new ways they can streamline to make the moment meaningful, to make it more powerful, to make it more effortless. That’s what we want to see on our wedding days, and we do that on our end, and we do that by recommending vendors not only planners but cake, florals, bar, decor, DJ, and so much more — who are going to continue to strive to make it better each time.
Alanna, with Simply Sweet Weddings, is one of those planners, as you can see from Jesscia’s love above! Alanna is always prompt and never leaves her couple or the other vendors and Shiraz Garden out of the details. As the venue, we have a team of 15+ members whose days and work schedules shift depending on wedding days and details. For us to properly staff and have Shiraz Garden at its best, we need lots and lots and lots of information. We never fear that Alanna will make sure we have that on time and ready to execute our roles as the venue the best we can. We love working with her!
