PRIVATE VOWS at the hidden staircase

Our main priority is just having a special moment during our first look and priafte vow reading. This is what I’m mos tlooking forward to! Then we’ll head to ceremony which my mom is going to officiate. My mom officiating is super special to both of us because she has watched us grow together over the years and been super involved in each of our lives. - Bride

 

SHIRAZ HOSTESS MAKING IT SPECIAL

Shiraz Garden is a stunning wedding venue in the Texas Hill Country, and we love hosting micro weddings and elopements. Our property features a variety of beautiful spaces, including a lush garden, a romantic gazebo, and a stunning waterfall with a fantastic view from the top. The venue is also surrounded by rolling hills and towering trees, which provide spectacular views of the surrounding Texas Hill Country.

We give our couples eloping four hours onsite with our elopement package. That time goes by quickly but also ensures enough buffer between getting the dress on, photos, ceremony, and family photos. The location, the views, and the price! We've browsed far less beautiful spaces at a much higher price. The Shiraz Garden is perfect for us because it keeps us within our small budget for elopement while also providing us with a breathtaking place to get married. - Bride


What is your best advice for couples planning an elopement in Austin!?

Definitely do it! Take the extra money you would've spent on vendors or other wedding expenses and put that toward your honeymoon or your future together.- Bride


HOW THEY MET

I was working at a gym when he walked inside for his workout. The staff knew him well, so everyone was excited to see him. I was a new hire, so I didn't know him yet, but I told my coworker the second I saw him that I was going to marry him. Our first date lasted nearly seven hours because we never ran out of things to talk about. Nearly five years later, and here we are!

WHERE DID YOU GET ENGAGED - CEDAR RIDGE PRESERVE

I'd been (half) jokingly bugging him about wanting to get engaged for years. We had a trip to Dallas planned, and I had a feeling he was going to do it then, but he kept throwing me off to the point that I figured it just wasn't going to happen. While hiking at the Cedar Ridge Preserve, we were going to take a pic together overlooking the valley with my tripod. Little did I know he was actually recording and propsed there. ELOPEMENT FULL OF INTIAMTE MOMENTS

Our main focus is that we remember everything about the day and that we're able to have as many intimate moments as possible. We want our parents to have a fun time but we are focused on our moments throught the day. - Bride
